Hello and welcome to Zorzle! This in its infancy but I’m hoping to build a network of people and groups all around the world working with children and schools to celebrate kindness.
My Story
I have had an interesting career. I have always been passionate about social justice and care for the disadvantaged. As a grandfather of seven beautiful people I have been very concerned about the future of our world that becomes more unjust it seems as the years go by. Simple kindness could change us and our world so easily.
Currently I run a small disability business in Melbourne, Australia. My passion for the poor got waylaid for a time when I joined what became a fundamentalist religious cult. After “God” died (that’s who our leader thought she was) I found myself in charge and over five years led a process that saw the group wound up and that “God” denounced.
I wrote about this in “My Brother’s Eyes” with my older brother John, who wasn’t in the group so the story was told from the inside and the outside.
